Mountain Biking
Corris is set slap bang in the middle of Wales' best mountaining biking. If fact you can ride the Mach 1, 2 & 3 trails right from the front door of the hut!
Machynlleth Waymarked routes of varying length and difficulty take you straight
from the centre of town into fantastic mountain and valley scenery. With everything from mixed road and valley trails to long forestry climbs, traversing mountain singletrack and sketchy
slate ravine descents on the longer routes there's something for every level of rider. The Dyfi forest to the north of the town offers excellent forestry freeriding too.
Coed-y-Brenin, the mountain bike Mecca of North Wales is home to an ever
increasing network of fantastic handbuilt all weather singltrack and even a dual slalom course. The technical roller coaster riding will have you grinning like a fool, with stunning mountain views of
surrounding Snowdonia and the coast that'll take your breath away.
Nant-yr-Arian forest sits high on the mountains just inland from Aberystwyth, and offers
stunning high-level wilderness riding. With trails heading out into the epic scenery of the Cambrian Mountains, this is a fantastic area for those who like their riding rugged. Just be prepared for everything
from true mountain climbs to river crossings and technical rocky descents. The Syfydrin trail built in association with Continental tyres combines the best of the `Summit trail´ singletrack with backcountry
mountain tracks for a 35km wilderness loop. The 16km Summit Bikes sponsored Summit trail and 9km Pendam trail use twisting all weather singletrack carved& 'Yr Afon' trails, the famous Tarw and 'MBR' trails
through to the strenuous technical singletrack of the "Dragon's Back" and The Beast of Brenin, there's days of fantastic riding for everyone from families to the World-class racers who train here regularly.
