Peak District, 20th & 21st September 2008 Organiser Ben Harris. The Campsite Shallow Grange Farm, Old Coalpit Lane, Chelmorton, Nr Buxton, Derbyshire, SK17 9SG. Tel: Tel: 01298 23578 The campsite looks to be well served with all the normal facilities and costs £5 per person per night. Even though this is designated as a weekend trip, being the peak district, you can of course just come along for the day. Directions to the Campsite You have a choice of east (M1), west (M6) or straight up through the middle. Take your pick as I have no idea which is the easiest or quickest! Distance from Warwick is 85 miles. See Map. ClimbingYou have a choice of rock and style. Grit to one side and limestone to the other. One is subtle and demands technique, the other is polished and requires big muscles ....Take your pick. For grit fans, the campsite is well placed for Windgather and Castle Naze. Limestone devotees can head for Harpur Hill and Staden.
